On Tuesday 2/11/20 the Hamlin Family got the news that their 6 year old son, Joshy, has relapsed. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on 8/29/17 and should have been done with treatment this coming December. Unfortunately during his monthly scheduled lumbar puncture they found leukemia cells in his spinal fluid and he will start treatment all over again Tuesday 2/17/20.
While their lives feel like they are once again coming to stand still, their bills are not. The family is still burdened with the medical cost from his first 3 1/2 year treatment and are heading into a second round of treatment. Although they are the last family to ask for help, at a time like this you place all your energy into caring for your child that you do not have any to spare to even want to cook a warm meal.
If you would like to help, we would be most thankful for your support. As a family of 5, they already have their hands full. A donation can mean so much to a family during this time and will allow them additional time to focus on Joshy and his two siblings.
