Help Josh Start Senior Year Strong—and Chase His Dream of SCAD
Hi everyone—
My name is Teresa King, and I’m the proud mom of Joshua King. Josh is getting ready to start his senior year of high school, and while we’re excited for all that’s ahead, it also comes with a lot of extra costs—things like school clothes, supplies, class fees, and all the expenses that pop up during senior year.
We’re doing our best, but truthfully, it’s a lot—and right now, we could use a little help.
Josh is a smart, hardworking young man with a huge heart and some serious talent. He’s especially gifted in digital art, but he’s also been pouring himself into learning traditional skills like sketching and painting. His dream is to go to SCAD—the Savannah College of Art and Design—one of the top art schools in the country. He’s focused, motivated, and ready to give it everything he’s got.
Right now, we’re hoping to raise $1,200 to help cover:
• Clothes and supplies for the start of school
• Art supplies and school-related costs throughout the year
• Support for his college application process and portfolio prep
I’ll keep the fundraiser open as the year goes on and we start looking toward what comes next. Every little bit helps, and anything raised beyond this goal will go toward helping Josh take those first steps toward college and his dream of becoming a professional artist.
If you’ve ever had a big dream—or raised a kid who does—you understand how much this means.
Whether you can give $10, $25, or just share this with your friends, we’re so thankful. Thank you for being part of Josh’s village.
With love and gratitude,
Teresa
