Help My Colorblind Coworker Finally See Christmas

Hi there! I’m launching this GoFundMe on behalf of my coworker, best friend, work husband, and tragic victim of a very, very French case of colorblindness. Diagnosed (by me, unofficially) with an advanced form of Deutan color vision deficiency, he bravely navigates life without ever truly knowing what green is. Or red, for that matter. Which means Christmas? A grayscale documentary.

He can’t tell if the light is red or green, if a stop sign is warning him or inviting him to go. Apples? Tomatoes? They're probably just different shades of confusion. The man once asked me if guacamole was “just savory pudding.”

We’re raising funds to buy him EnChroma glasses—those magical specs that can help people with red-green colorblindness finally perceive the colors they’ve been missing. It might sound small, but imagine seeing a tree for the first time like everyone else. Or not having to guess if your shirt matches your pants (spoiler: it doesn’t).
