My name is Joshua, and I’m reaching out because I’ve found myself in a situation I never expected. After developing a major lung infection and struggling with malnutrition due to Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency, I’ve been unable to work. The medical challenges have taken a toll on my health and my ability to support myself.

I’m proud to share that I’ve been sober for 2.5 years, and I’ve worked hard to rebuild my life. As a result of my recent health struggles, I lost my job and was forced to sell my car. I’ve had to move to a remote part of the valley to stay with friends, far from my family and the support I need. My mother is getting older, and my health has only gotten worse. I want nothing more than to be closer to her during this difficult time, but I simply don’t have the resources to make that happen on my own.

I’m asking for help to cover my living expenses and to relocate back to Wisconsin so I can be near my mother. I’ve never been good at asking for help from strangers, but I have no safety net left and I’m desperate to avoid becoming homeless. Your support would mean the world to me and my mother.
