Hi, my name is Jeffrey Wasson-Vadney. On August 5th, 2021 my son watched his home ignite into flames as he was escaping the River fire in Colfax, California. We thank our lord Joshua is safe and was able to escape with his beautiful dog. The Sheriffs who knocked door to door, demanding they evacuate, saved his and surrounding neighbors lives. Everything Joshua had from his childhood and all his memories are gone. His clothes, appliances and most importantly his entire business which he uses to support himself was all destroyed by the fire in a matter of minutes.

In this uncertain world we are unsure how Joshua will move forward, however, he is staying positive and is overjoyed with the outpouring of love. We are filled with gratitude for anything, anyone can offer to help our son get back on his feet from this unfortunate act of nature.
