Help Joshua Overcome Health and Housing Crisis
Donation protected
I am Kim Johnson Caudill, and I am Joshua’s mom. I am deeply concerned and heartbroken about my son Joshua’s current situation. He has been battling alcoholism and severe depression with anxiety for years. He was recently diagnosed with fatty liver disease at the young age of 32; this news was very hard to hear! He also has GERD as well. This last year has been particularly hard on Josh as he has been going through an elongated outpatient alcohol rehab program and has been too sick to work much of this past 1.5 years. He is still out of work, and a forbearance on his house has now turned into a foreclosure date. Josh has been in and out of the hospital many times this past year and also has a ton of past due medical bills.
In order to save his home from being put up for auction on August 1st, 2025, I am asking for help in raising the $35 thousand he owes in back mortgage payments to keep his house from (our family home I raised my 3 kids in for 26 years) going back to the bank for most likely a ridiculously low amount as he does not owe much on it and has a lot of equity in the home. I wish I had the funds on my own to help him save his (our family) home and get him back on track with his health and his Millwright apprenticeship career. Unfortunately, I don’t! This is heartbreaking to a parent (a mom with her heart on her sleeve) ❤️ I keep praying for a God-given miracle!
If you are inclined and able to help out monetarily in any amount or know of someone who can, it would be greatly appreciated. If you know of other ideas, advice, or help out there, I am open to hearing it.
Please be kind and keep Joshua’s physical, spiritual, and mental health and this housing crisis situation in your prayers. We give God the praise and glory for every word of encouragement and donation in this regard.
We appreciate the prayers, the uplifting good vibes, and anything you and yours can do to offer assistance and support of any kind.
I humbly thank you for your consideration and ask for your prayers for my son to get well soon, get back to work, and not lose his house.
God's blessings to you!
