Help Joshua on His Soccer Journey in Spain

Hello everyone! My name is Mariah Serrano and I am fundraising to help my brother, Joshua Serrano, pay for the expenses of staying in Spain as he has been contracted to join a team in Madrid named, Azuqueca. In recognition of all his hard work for the past year, this opportunity will allow him to jump two divisions and possibly gain a professional contract. This season he played ninth division with a team called, Dux, and was scouted by Azuqueca, who saw potential in him and believe that he may be able to become a part of their first team (they are a fifth division team). Such an experience will allow him to further himself in this sport and accomplish his dream of playing professionally. It is for that reason that this chance means the world to him as my brother has been playing soccer since he was 7 years old.

As his younger sister, I have seen him only think of this sport and nothing else. I can say with confidence that this is the thing that gives him ultimate fulfillment and makes him happy. The dedication he has shown throughout the years is truly remarkable to me as he has woken up at the crack of dawn to train hours away from our house, go to games in a different state, etc. Soccer has always been something he loves and I hope with this he will be able to continue his first love.

As most of you know, living in a new country, while having to pay for personal trainers and other expenses of a soccer team is not cheap. My family has been facing significant financial and personal obstacles as of late and we would be immensely grateful for any support that can be offered. Truly anything will be sincerely appreciated. Any donations will all go towards my brother's soccer training and living expenses, such as buying food, paying for an apartment and transportation, or any other accommodations that may be added by the team.
