My name is Joshua Moore. The point of this gofundme is to try to alleviate some of the stress and pressure from medical bills and hopefully improve a couple quality of life changes that have come up. I was recently diagnosed with the rare FH gene mutation disorder, known as Hereditary Leiomyomatosis and Renal Cell Carcinoma (HLRCC), also called Reed's Syndrome, which only 300 families globally are diagnosed with.

With frequent visits to a team of specialists at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, to deal with symptoms both inside and outside of my body, including a large number of subdermal tumors and monitoring for multiple types of internal cancers. Throughout this process, I have managed to maintain working a full time job and have health insurance, but unfortunately both of these do not come close to covering the expenses brought by a much more rare disorder like this.

As I stated earlier, my goal with this fundraiser is to raise funds, but awareness of the situation and of this rare case is just as important to me, so thank you for any donations, time, support, and circulation that you may do towards this!
