Help Joshua & Lisa Recover From Robbery & Homelessness

Hi, my name is Joshua and I’m making this fundraiser with my Mom, Lisa.

We recently sold our house in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved down to Lubbock, Texas.

Soon after moving down there a family friend of ours completely emptied our bank account stealing 10,000$ from us. That of which was going towards rent, furnishing our new home, and buying clothes for our back.

Cops are refusing to do anything and we can’t afford a lawyer.

Since it has been emptied out we could no longer afford rent, bills, food, or any other needs. The job market has been ruthless, applying to multiple places everyday and never hearing back.

We have Doordashed but our car registration has since expired making our car illegal. That is no longer an option to make money until we can make it legal again.

Months has passed and on March 24th me and mom are going into court to get an official move out date. Law says 10 days so that makes April 3rd as the most likely date. After that we will be living in our car.

We need help in this emergency. Please donate and the funds will go to making our car legal again so we can DoorDash, pay off our dues, hire a lawyer to sue, and maybe if there’s enough get a new home or a cheap motel.

I doubt we could do all of that but even a little will help.

By this point we will be living in our car for a bit regardless of what happens. Right now we're trying to figure out how to make that work.
