Hello, my name is Joshua and I am on here seeking community help to secure a reliable vehicle for me, my son, and my small business.

I am a co-parenting single father on a very tight income and a small business owner that, because of the nature of my business (fragrance/art) requires me to travel for work so that I can market my brand. On top of that, I commute about 4,000 miles annually just taking my son back and forth to school & activities.

The current car I have had since 2016 and has over 190,000 miles and while Ive taken a few gambles this year going out of town for shows, the transmission has finally given out just a few miles from my apartment. On top of that it needs regular maintenance so dropping any money into it at this point is just a waste with a transmission replacement costing around $2,500.

My market season begins heavily the first week of May 2025 and having a vehicle is imperative to maintaining my regular income and meeting all my responsibilities as a parent.

My intentions with the money are to secure a down payment for financing a reliable used vehicle and covering the added insurance cost.
