Help Joshua Heal: Road to Recovery
Donation protected
As you may or may not know, Joshua had his first heart procedure in middle school. His immediate family was under the impression that he was in the clear going forward. Unfortunately, in 2019, he was diagnosed with heart disease. Since 2019, Joshua has undergone various treatments and procedures. He recently had a big procedure in June of 2024. The Sunday after Thanksgiving of 2024, Josh had complications from his heart disease, which landed him in the hospital. By the grace of God, Josh ended up in the hospital and was given (and currently continues to receive) intensive medical treatments and procedures that included open-heart surgery.
Even after this extended hospitalization, his journey won’t be over, as he'll be recovering in a rehabilitation center and after, full-time care from his family until he is cleared by his cardiologist team. The journey for recovery will not be easy or quick.
Those who know Josh best will define him as a gentle giant. He has always been kind and tells the funniest bad jokes. He loves to fish and is a collector of saltwater fish and coral. He has 3 amazing kids under the age of 11. In addition, he’s always been someone who gives so much to others, and now we’re hoping to give back to him when he needs it most. Joshua has been in the hospital and unable to go to work for nearly 2 months. This has been an incredibly difficult time for him and our family. On top of the physical and emotional toll, the medical bills have already begun to pile up, and his insurance company has already started contacting him for payments.
We’re asking for any help to ease his financial burden during this challenging time. Any donation, no matter the size, would go directly toward his medical bills, living expenses, and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers as we continue to support him on his road to recovery.
