My great nephew, Joshua Thomas has been sick on and off for almost all of this year.  His conditions really deteriorated on February 29th.  He was first diagnosed with mono, but shortly thereafter he was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at TMH and additionally  diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs.  After spending over a week in the hospital, Joshua was discharged last Tuesday, March 11.  We were hopeful that he was on the road to recovery, however as of Friday, March 13, his fever had spiked again and he was admitted back to the hospital with additional fluid on his left lung than when he was first admitted in late February.

Doctors in Tallahassee are consulting with doctors in Jacksonville to help identify any other underlying issues that may be causing Joshua's delayed recovery.  Blair and John are extremely grateful for everyone's outpouring of prayers.  They know that God is in control and have complete faith that he will make a full recovery.  

Blair is a school teacher, but has not been able to work since Joshua's illness.  Prior to Joshua getting sick, Blair was had also missed several days of work to recover from an automobile accident.  John has also missed work to help care for Joshua at the hospital.  I am hopeful that we can combine our resources to help lighted the financial burden that Blair and John are facing at this time. Anything you can give to help this precious family in their time of need is greatly appreciated.
