My name is Joshua, and after 21 years of struggling with addiction, I’m proud to say I’ve almost made it to a year clean. It’s been a long, tough road, but I’m determined to keep moving forward and build a better life for myself. While I was in rehab working on my recovery, both of my motorcycles were stolen. Since then, I’ve had to rely on the bus to get to work, outpatient appointments, and meetings. Even though I’m doing my best, the bus often makes me late, and it’s starting to affect my job and my ability to stay connected to my support network.

Having a motorcycle again would make a huge difference in my life. It would help me get to work and outpatient appointments on time, and it would let me reconnect with friends from rehab who live out of bus range. I’d be able to attend new meetings and gatherings with sober friends, which is so important for my recovery. Riding isn’t just about getting from place to place—it’s a release, a way to clear my head, and something that helps me stay healthy and focused. Only someone who rides can really understand how much that freedom means.
