Hi, my name is Beth and I'm fundraising for my son Joshua. He was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in October 2022. Joshua has overcome many challenges with multiple broken bones and has a long recovery process with several surgeries to follow. Our family has taken on the full medical cost so far however the insurance company has denied his prosthetics three times as it was deemed not medically necessary. I made a promise to my son when he woke up that all his bone would heal and we would get him a new hand and I plan to keep that promise. The cost to buy the one he needs is $30,000. Joshua is a great candidate for the bionic hand because he has full nerve function in his arm. He is only 23 years old and has his whole life ahead of him and deserves it to be the best it can under these circumstances.Joshua still has 10,000 in unpaid medical bills with a long process ahead.
