Hello,

My name is Joshua Ford. I'm 39 years old, a single father of 3 children. Currently I reside in Leetonia,Oh where I've lived the majority of my life.

Recently i was diagnosed with Invasive Keratinizing Squamous Cell Carcinoma. An aggressive type of tongue cancer that has grown a large mass/open lesion on the side of my tongue. Currently it's very painful to talk, and eat because i constantly bite my tongue. I'm scheduled for surgery for mass removal , and tongue reconstruction on June 3rd 2024 at Cleveland Clinic , Cleveland,Oh. Per doctor's orders i'm not permitted to work, and the social worker has started a social security disability application. A determination from the social security administration can take many months. In the meantime i don't have income for gas to commute to, and from the hospital for appointments, and tests pre surgery, nor appointments , and treatments post surgery, plus utility and insurance bills, normal living expenses. I'm not a person to ask for help unless i really need it, even then i'm still hesitant. Any donation to help with gas money/bills temporarily would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and God Bless
