I’m Joshua, and I’m raising funds to help cover my final year of law school tuition. Becoming a lawyer has been a lifelong dream of mine, but I wasn’t able to pursue it straight out of college. After undergrad, I worked in other career fields, even though the desire to work in the legal field never left me. Everything changed after my son’s 9th birthday, when he asked me what I had wanted to be when I grew up. It was hard to admit that I hadn’t achieved that dream. Then he asked me a simple but powerful question: why don’t I go be a lawyer now? That moment stayed with me, and it gave me the push I needed to study for the LSAT, apply to law school, and finally take this path seriously.
Now, four years later, I am on the final stretch of this journey. Recent changes to borrowing guidelines outlined in the Big Beautiful Bill have capped the amount of federal student aid I am able to receive. Because of that new cap, I now have to pay my final year of tuition out of pocket, and I do not have the financial means to do that on my own. Your support will go directly toward my tuition and help me finish what I started. If you are able to give, share, or simply encourage me, it would mean so much to me and my family. Thank you for helping me get one step closer to becoming the lawyer I have worked so hard to become.
