I’m Joshua, and I’m raising funds for The Association of Ugly Motherfuckers, a decentralized collective I lead that is pushing back against the culture of aesthetic optimization, looksmaxxing, and rigid beauty standards. I started this because I’m tired of watching modern social platforms and beauty algorithms turn insecurity into a business model. Too many people are made to feel like their worth can be measured by symmetry, curation, or how closely they match a narrow standard. Through humor, radical authenticity, and honest cultural critique, this project aims to challenge that mindset and make more room for real humanity, character, and connection.
