Hi, my name is Joshua.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma p16 & p40 in my neck area. It’s not easy to write that, or to be here asking for help. I’m 45, living in Seattle, and mostly on my own.
Not long ago I went through another medical situation that completely drained me financially. I was just starting to get back on my feet when this new diagnosis came along. I do have insurance, but even with that, the costs for scans, appointments, and treatment are still very high.
I’m doing my best to stay grounded and take things one day at a time, but it’s a lot to carry. I’ve always tried to handle life quietly and on my own terms. I like to get outside, take photos, and find small moments that make the world feel bigger. But right now I’m facing something I can’t manage alone.
Any support, whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or just a few kind words, truly means something. It will help me keep my footing while I focus on getting through treatment and healing
