During the early hours of March 11th, an unexpected apartment fire turned life upside down for Josh, a valued coworker, and his family. In just moments, the place they called home and nearly all of their belongings were lost. What was once a safe space filled with everyday necessities, memories, and personal items is now gone. Thankfully, Josh and his family made it out safely, but they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from nothing. The fire destroyed essential items like clothing, furniture, household supplies, and other personal belongings that can’t easily be replaced. Like many people, they did not expect something like this to happen and were not fully prepared for the financial burden that follows a disaster like this. Right now, Josh and his family are working to rebuild their life.
