Josh was injured on the job 2 years ago in August of 2021. Since then, he has deteriorated quite quickly. Although it was a work injury that started all of this, workers comp closed the case back in January of 2023. At the time he was still being treated by the doctors, but once they found out the neck and back could now be involved, they closed it. Everything now has been going through my work insurance, which doesn't cover much. He continues to get worse and is able to do less and less. More and more tests continue to be done to try and get more answers. No neuro-surgeon will even see him at the current time. Josh can no longer sit for long periods of time or even stand for extended periods of time. When walking he must use a cane, but has to take many breaks and when he does walk it is very slow. We find him falling quite often out of the blue. He has no feeling in his right hand or foot. The right side of his body will just quit working quite often and he is in extreme pain most of the time. He is now unable to hold his head up due to a fracture and nerve damage in the neck and right side of the body.

We have had to sell our home and move into an rv in a rv park. We also had to sell all our belongings and if not a miracle soon we will lose our vehicles. On top of that medical bills are adding up. 

This hole situation has been a rough road. I have found I need to help my husband more and more every day. He is now also needing a scooter to help him get around but it is not in the cards financially. I work for the local schools, but my wages do not cover the cost of living and I do not get another paycheck until the end of September, but it doesn't cover much.

We have applied for SSI and disability for him, but have heard nothing and will take a long time. 

It makes me cry to have to do this, but we need your help to pay medical expenses, try and get him a scooter, and pay for living expenses.
