Help Josh Walker Bring The Last Dance to Life
Donation protected
One of the best ways to describe Josh Walker is a visionary. Their effortless creativity overflows in all that they do. Over the past couple of years, they have been tirelessly working on writing the script and all the music for an original musical, titled "The Last Dance".
The story follows a young adult named Tiff who has been sheltered his whole life due to a terminal sickness that has kept him hooked up to a life support machine 24/7. To spend his last moments on Earth, he decides to finally leave the house and explore what he had not been able to experience before. To hear an excerpt from their amazing play, please check out their Instagram page. I attended many different performances of their play, and can personally attest to the power that their words and music evoke.
After performing these songs to a sold-out crowd at 54 Below, their next step was to professionally record the songs for their musical so they can see their creative vision brought to life on stage. In honor of both Pride Month and Black Music Month, we want to be able to support an amazingly talented queer artist with their creative passions. Please donate whatever you can to help towards the continuation of this musical. This donation would contribute to music production, studio time & eventually staged reading! I truly believe this work is something that they should be able to share with the rest of the world, and you could be a great assistance towards that goal.
So please help us as we help them get the flowers they deserve
