Help Josh Walk Again: Support His Journey

Donation protected
November 5th, 2024, was just another Tuesday, until it wasn't.
Josh woke up complaining of chest pains and, at the urging of Brittney, went into the ER, where they discovered he had a torn aorta. That following evening, they performed heart surgery. After a successful surgery, during recovery, they realized he had some spinal fluid build-up and, at some point, a stroke.
They believed these two things combined caused some paralysis.
Due to the location of the spinal fluid build-up and his size, they had to go through his skull to release it.
This surgery too was successful...
Thursday night, he was again rushed into an emergency bypass surgery.
Friday morning, they took him downstairs for yet another MRI. Out of the 20 times this doctor has done this surgery, 17 times the patient has woken up and regained functionality, but 3 never did....
Brittney talked with the doctors and they don't believe Joshua will ever walk again.
Josh has a long road of recovery ahead of him and the family has a lot of adapting to do, but they can't do it without help.
Brittney and Josh have a beautiful 8-month-old baby girl as well as other children that they are raising together.
He was the primary breadwinner for the family and now they will have medical bills as well as therapy bills, transportation, ramp building as well as daily bills.
Thank you for your support and prayers.
Sabra.
