On April 16 at around 12:30 AM in Lawrenceville, my friend, Josh Ricci, experienced a devastating house fire that completely changed his life.
The fire was so severe that the second floor of his home collapsed. In order to survive, he had to escape by climbing out of a window on the third floor. His mother, who was visiting at the time, was also able to make it out safely.
Both survived, but not without serious injuries. He is currently in the hospital being treated for second-degree burns, and his mother is hospitalized due to smoke inhalation. They are both facing a difficult road to recovery.
Tragically, his beloved cat and dog were lost in the fire. In addition to this heartbreaking loss, he has lost everything—his home, clothing, personal belongings, and all of life’s essentials.
He is now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from nothing while also dealing with medical care and recovery.
We are asking for any support you can give during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward medical expenses, temporary housing, clothing, and basic necessities as he begins to rebuild his life.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity.
