Help Josh recover from Traumatic Brain Injury

Donation protected
Hi My name is Blair, I am Joshua's Sister-in-law, I am organizing this fundraiser on Joshua's behalf.

On Monday, Josh was involved in a very serious accident at work which landed Josh in the ICU with a severe traumatic brain injury. Josh was struck in the back of the head with a heavy duty piece of metal which knocked him unconscious. Josh's brothers were there and quickly responded. One brother administering first aid while the other flagged down the ambulance. He was picked up in an ambulance and rushed to Mission Hospital of Asheville, down the mountain about an hour away. After being assessed, the team at the hospital decided an emergency brain operation to wash out the dirt and debris, and relieve the building pressure was imminent. After the operation, we learned that a hole, the size of an egg had been blown into the back of his skull. The remaining part of skull was pressing against his brain causing bleeding and was removed but not salvageable. A titanium plate covers the place of the hole made in his skull and a drain was placed so the blood wouldn't sit on his brain. He went to ICU to recover and continue fighting for his life. The OR Doctor said that he was amazed how thick Josh's skull was because a fractured skull like this would have usually taken a life.

Those that know Joshua Clark, age 32, know he is an incredible human. He is a father, brother, son, and friend. He was a Combat Engineer in the Army. He is one of the most independent, selfless men you will ever meet. Josh doesn't ask for anything in return. He will go out of his way to ensure your happiness or safety and usually is sporting a smile. Josh has a 6 year old son and being self employed will need additional support from his community to make ends meet during this time.

Now is our time to come together as a community to support him. Josh has a very long road to recovery ahead of him. He will be out of work for at least 3 months and during that time his bills and child support as well as medical bills will continue to roll in.

In an effort to provide assistance during this difficult time, friends and family have initiated a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of Josh. Your donation, regardless of size, will contribute significantly to ensuring financial support for him throughout this crisis.

Here's how you can help:

1. Donate: Your financial support will make a significant impact on Josh's family.
2. Spread the word: Please share this campaign with your network. The more people who know about it, the better the chances of reaching our goal.
3. Send prayers and positive vibes: Even if you are unable to donate for any reason, your thoughts and prayers mean the world to us.

We understand that times are challenging for many, but any form of assistance is greatly appreciated. Your generosity will not only touch the hearts of Josh's family but will also make a significant difference in his life.
