Help Josh Meier's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we are mourning the sudden passing of Josh Meier. Josh was a cherished son, brother, father and friend to many. He will be profoundly missed by everyone that knew him.
Josh tragically lost his life to addiction on November 20, at just 35 years old. His family would like to honor his memory with a small memorial service and burial in Elgin, Oregon, a place that was very near and dear to Josh.
Those that knew Josh knew how much he loved fly fishing. Since he was little, Josh lived and breathed fishing. He leaves behind two young boys, Leo (13) and Rowdy (3). Both equally share their dad’s love of fishing. Josh also leaves behind a stepdaughter, Paisley (10), whom he he loved as his own since day one. Josh was an extremely hard worker who would give the shirt off his back to help those around him. He wore his heart on his sleeve and loved his friends and family hard. He could make anyone laugh with a sudden joke, especially if he knew someone was having a bad day.
At this time, the Meier family is facing between $12k and 20k in funeral expenses. Our fundraising goal is $20,000 with a set end date of December 7, 2024. Any amount you can donate will be immensely appreciated and help ease the financial burden on the Meier family during this difficult time. Any funds raised above the cost of the funeral will be split evenly between his two sons to help ensure that they are taken care of after his passing.
Please help the Meier family lay their beloved son, brother and father to rest.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
With gratitude,
Ariane, Haley & Rachael
