Help Us & Our Cats Stay Housed – Emergency Relief Fund

Hi, we’re Joshua and Mads, and we’re reaching out during one of the hardest times of our lives.

We’re currently facing the urgent threat of eviction and are trying to raise $1,200 to cover rent and essential living expenses so that we can stay safe and avoid becoming homeless. This situation has been overwhelming and scary, and asking for help is something we never thought we’d have to do and still don’t want to do, but right now, we don’t have another option.

You would not only be helping us but our 3 best friends, who don’t deserve to feel the effects of our hard times. Our cats mean everything to us! They’re our companions, our comfort, and our responsibility. I can’t imagine what would happen to them or to us if we lost our living situation.

Although we have tried to prepare for an emergency like this, there have still been unforeseen circumstances. This fund would give us just enough relief to catch our breath, stay safely housed, and take steps toward long-term financial stability. Every dollar will go toward:

• Rent and late fees

• Basic utilities

• Food and care for our cats

• Transportation to job opportunities and necessary appointments

I know everyone has their own struggles and responsibilities, so please know that any amount, no matter how small, makes a difference. And even if you can’t give, just sharing this would mean the world to us.
