Hey everyone, Dylan here, Josh’s partner.
Josh was diagnosed with Otosclerosis when he was 17, and has been wearing hearing aids ever since.
He used to wear two hearing aids, and then years ago one broke and he wasn’t able to get another one. He’s been getting by on using one for a while, and now that one has stopped working as well. He’s been in for testing and the specialist is strongly recommending getting two again. He is stressing about the financial aspect of getting two. He deserves the absolute best and that’s why I’m here asking for help.
Our government currently helps deaf people by only providing a whopping $500 credit every 5 years for people to get the new hearing devices that they need. (Absolute BS if you ask me)
The type of hearing aids that Josh needs are different than most people with normal hearing loss. Because of his condition, the hearing aids he needs are far more expensive. So I’m here asking for some help to cover the cost.
It’s His birthday coming up on November 4th and would love to surprise him with some peace of mind. It would mean absolutely everything.
Anything helps!
