Hi, I’m Josh Lowry—a full-time dad raising my daughter on our mountain land in Nevada City, California.
Life up here in the Sierra Foothills is stunning... and nonstop. Jobs are hard when you're on baby duty—feeds, naps, playtime, all those tiny things that keep me right here. I've given everything to being her dad—but now I want to build steady income from our own dirt, so I never have to leave her side.
My plan: small-batch artisan farm—fresh veggies, fruits, medicinal herbs, seasonal starts. Nevada City's farmers market loves local, sustainable goods. I'll sell there, supply gardeners, and offer hand-grown stuff big farms can't beat.
Two big needs to launch:
A greenhouse—to fight frost, wind, pests and keep things growing year-round.
Solid fencing—to stop deer, rabbits, critters from raiding.
Those turn our land into a real homestead: bills paid, soil, sweat, and nature.
Your help covers the greenhouse kit, fencing, tools, soil, clones and construction of the greenhouse.
Can't donate? Share it. One forward could hit someone who gets mountain living, fresh food, or just cheering on a dad grinding for his kid.
Thanks for believing in us. Let's grow something real—together.
With gratitude,
Lowry Family
