Help Josh and our family

Donation protected

Hello all!

Let me tell you where it all started. July 18th I gave birth to our miracle baby, Oliver. While dealing with all the stress of that Josh noticed that he was having some issues with his stomach. And for over the next 8 months he suffered from the same stomach issues. We went to multiple doctors and had multiple tests and all the doctors said the same thing…. “Stress can cause constipation”. Finally after 7 months of struggling mentally with the fact that something was wrong and no one could figure out what, I made him go to the ER. March 6th, 2024 we sat in the ER with our 2 youngest children when the doctors called us back and without any warning or talking to us first we were greeted by an oncologist. With our babies sitting on our lap this doctor told us that Josh has metastatic colon cancer, and showed us the very large mass wrapped around a main artery and an innumerable amount of small masses throughout his body including his lungs, lymph nodes, colon, rectum, and throughout his abdominal cavity. They Told us how serious it was and that Josh needed to be admitted to fast track all the testing to show us what this disease is taking over his body. We were scared, stressed, and very confused. We stay the night and the next day he does his tests…. Fast forward a few days and we get the results. Not colon cancer, and came back “inconclusive” for lymphoma.
Josh spent a week in the hospital, with no answers , but a ton of questions.
So now Josh has these masses throughout his body that is wreaking havoc on his body and no one can tell us what they are yet, and his blood pressure is still very high. He has decided to take time off work while we figure out what’s causing the pain, the masses, the uncontrollable high blood pressure, the tiredness, the low potassium, and the forming of fluid around his heart, and now his anemia.
As many of you know, Josh is our main source of income. He is paying for everything at home so I could stay home and care for Oliver and Winter. We have a ton of appointments coming up, and surgery coming up, and a family to take care of.
His oncologist is thinking it’s lymphoma or some sort of infection in his lymphatic system.
We are still trying to get answers to all these new questions we have.
Josh is getting more weak and more tired as the days go by. It’s incredibly difficult to watch him not be his usual self.

If you are not able to help us financially with keeping our family a float, please pray to whoever and whatever you believe in. Pray for Joshs to have the strength to fight this mentally and physically, and pray for our family and his children.

Anything and everything is greatly appreciated, and would mean the world to our family.

Thank you to everyone who has already offered their help.

Update March 26th
We met with the cancer surgeon today, and we are planning on doing surgery to hopefully get enough tissue to confirm a diagnosis. Surgeon is sure we are looking at cancer. It’s a long list of different kinds of cancer, but with how much it has spread we need to act fast in order to get a treatment plan started. We also had a pet scan done and we are waiting for those results to see if there is a safer way to go in without causing damage to any of the main arteries that the large masses are wrapped around.
Surgery is Monday April 1st.
