Josh was part of a concussion research study since Bloomsburg University football days. This year he decided to participate again, and flew to Indiana to have an MRI at IU. On Saturday 1/18 he received a call from the head of Neurology at IU who stated that the radiologist found something concerning on his scans. After further testing they confirmed Josh has a brain tumor.

Josh is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, February 13, 2025, to remove as much of the tumor as possible. This will be a long surgery (6-8 hours). The goal will be to get out as much of the tumor as possible, and biopsy. If needed, chemotherapy and/radiation might be used afterwards.

Josh and Lauren will be encountering countless medical bills and unexpected financial expenses in the upcoming months. This page has been created as a way for family and friends to help alleviate the financial burden for them. If you feel called to give, it will be greatly appreciated!
