I am currently stranded in Nevada County with my dog, feeling lost and uncertain about how to get home to Iowa. Being homeless has been incredibly difficult, and every day is a challenge as I try to keep both myself and my dog safe and fed. My family is waiting for me in Iowa, and all I want is to make it back to them so I can start rebuilding my life.
