Portland musicians Harlee Case and Josh Smith are gearing up to shoot the music video for their internationally-recognized debut single “Hot Blooded”! The New Constellations crew has been so honored to have had this song played over 5 million times around the world. Now it is time to create a visual art piece that reflects this fantastic music.
Incredibly talented film-maker, artist, and editor Travis Abels (MacBeth, Bridgerton, Westworld) has signed on to direct and local artist Keasha Brown will be art directing, bringing her renowned creative prowess to conjure otherworldly sets and costumes.
This music video is an exciting new step for New Constellations as they continue to build their platform, further curating the vibes that Xray FM called “SPECTACULAR”, noting, “Harlee and Josh's passion for what they do shines through in New Constellations' live set. There's a warmth to it - like a hug from a good friend...that also makes you want to dance. It's clear that they value the intimate connection they establish with the audience through their music.”
To make this beautiful art come to life, they need your help! We seek to raise $5000 to rent equipment, purchase props and set design elements, and feed our cast and crew. We are so lucky to have had support and encouragement from our fantastic community thus far, and we need your help again to spread the word about this exciting new project!
New Constellations is Portland-based duo Harlee Case (vocals) and Josh Smith (multi-instrumentalist and producer).
