My sweet Jose gave me the greatest gift of all, our baby girl. He was the epitome of love. Since the day I met Jose, he and I have been inseparable and planned on creating this beautiful life together. He loved our daughter so much, and being a father came easy for him. I may have lost him, but I have a beautiful piece left of him to cherish forever. Life has so many unexpected turns, but it could never prepare you for the loss of the person you are supposed to grow with.

The expenses that come with burying your loved one and caring for a child on your own are too much for one person to bear. My grief is the reminder of how lucky I was to love him that I will endure missing him for the rest of my life. Jose was the love of my life; he gave me everything, and as my last act of love to him, I am asking for help to give myself, our daughter, and any family and friends a proper goodbye as he enters his new walk with God. Anything helps.
