Jose’s dad was taken by ICE on February 26, leaving his family in a difficult situation. Jose, a senior in high school, and his mom are struggling to find the funds needed for legal representation. As the son of first-generation immigrant parents, Jose doesn’t have family nearby to help, making this challenge even harder. His dad has always been a mentor, offering love and guidance through tough times, and his absence is deeply felt.

The funds raised will go directly toward legal fees for a lawyer to represent Jose’s dad in court, attend hearings, and handle all necessary legal paperwork. Having proper legal support is crucial for his dad’s release and for ensuring his rights are protected during this difficult process. Jose and his mom simply don’t have the resources to cover these costs, and every contribution will make a real difference.
