(Pictured above: my cousin and I in front of the Eiffel Tower during my first visit to France in July 2016)
I've been accepted to Boston University's Paris Summer Internship program. From May 16 to July 15, I will be an unpaid intern at a law-related organization in Paris. All work for the internship will be done in French, and I will be staying with a French family. It's an amazing opportunity. I will be able to combine my two greatest passions: French and the law. And it's one step closer to my dream job: working in international law to advance humanitarian efforts.
Unfortunately, the program is pretty expensive. Participation in the program costs over $9,000, and that doesn't include the cost of everyday food and transportation. The program's budget estimates that the total cost of the trip will come out to $13,525, which is a hefty amount.
That's why I need your help!
If you are able to support my internship by contributing to this GoFundMe, it would mean the world to me. Anything at all helps! And please feel free to share this post.
Here's the program website, so you can read about what I'll be doing:
Here is a list of my anticipated expenses, so you can see exactly where the money will be going:
I'll update this description when I find out which law-related organization I'll be working for (which should be really soon!).
Thank you so much!
