Hello everyone, My name is Joseph Smith and I never imagined I’d be in a position where I would need to ask for help. Recently, I unexpectedly lost my job. According to my separation letter, the company is “going in a different direction,” and I was let go without any warning or clear reason. This happened at one of the hardest times of the year — the holidays — when stability matters most.

I am currently living in a stay-hotel, paying out of pocket each week just to have a safe place to sleep. Without steady income, the cost of the hotel, food, transportation, and basic needs has quickly become overwhelming. I am actively looking for new work and doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but right now I’m struggling to cover my immediate living expenses.
