Help Joseph Milyanovich Through Cancer

Hello. This GoFundMe is for my father, Joseph Milyanovich.

During October of 2023, my father was diagnosed with stage four Choroid Melanoma Metastasis to the liver. He received treatment for it December of that year, with help from the American Cancer Society. This year, he did not qualify to receive financial help this year for his treatment, which is crucial to his treatment of the cancer.

He was originally diagnosed with Choroid Melanoma in his right eye in June 2021 that rendered him mostly blind, with radiation laser treatment doing nothing to help it. After the devastating loss of my older sister Emilia in April of 2022, he ultimately decided to have the eye removed in the summer of that year, and is now completely missing his right eye. There was a risk that it could spread to his lymph nodes or his liver, but it was a risk he was willing to take after almost a year of dealing with doctors appointments, treatments, and long trips to hospitals.

My father is an extremely hard working man. He’s a single father with split custody of me and my sister, and he works tirelessly every single day to make sure my sister and I have what we need to have a healthy, safe life while going without his wants and needs. He’s always put us first, and now I would like to do something to help him. Without the money from this GoFundMe, he will have to continue to work during treatments, which will not only put a strain on his body, but his livelihood and ability to take care of us.

The money from this will solely go to bills and groceries, the bare minimum my father and our family need to stay afloat during this difficult time. Every bit helps, and nothing goes unappreciated.
