If you have ever shopped at TBD Thrift, you know Joseph as a dependable and hardworking man who is always willing to help. For 2 years, Joseph has served at TBD through a federally funded senior employment program that allowed him to earn an income while being a positive light in the lives of those around him.

Suddenly, funding for that program will be eliminated effective June 30th. Joseph will lose a significant portion of income. As a senior citizen living alone, this will create an immediate financial hardship.

Joseph is a widower and has no close family to rely on during this difficult time. Despite facing his own challenges, he continues to show up and work hard with us at the Thrift. He has been an important part of our organization and we are his family.

We are raising funds to help Joseph fill the gap and still be able to use TBD Thrift as a place of comfort, belonging, and family. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to Joseph to help with everyday necessities such as housing, utilities, food, transportation, and other essential expenses.
