Joseph Howell is a 29-year-old who passed out at home on 11/30/24 and was rushed to the hospital. While there, it was found that he was bleeding internally and needed several units of blood. Unfortunately, he is also a severe hemophiliac (free bleeder), and this complicated his situation further. He was also septic, and his blood pressure was very low, so the decision was made to transfer him to another hospital that could manage him better. After being transferred, he received several more units of blood and underwent some procedures to locate the bleeding. He was found to have esophageal cancer and still remains in the hospital due to him still having profuse blood loss. The doctors have told him he needs a very extensive surgery to remove part of his esophagus and stomach and will be in the hospital for possibly 2-3 months due to the hemophilia and his risk for bleeding.

While my husband and I, along with his wife and siblings, will do everything to make sure he is taken care of 100%, he also has a 3-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter that we also want to make sure have everything they need. My family always works hard and never asks for anything, and we are always willing to help anyone and everyone, but it is our family who could use the help this time. We do understand times are hard, and if you are not able to help monetarily, we will never turn down prayers.
