Hi, my name is Kaiden and I'm asking for help on behalf of one of my dear friends, Joseph Jayaker. I met Joseph while serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints back in 2017. Joseph lives in Chennai, India, and suffers from several health challenges, the most serious of which are his damaged kidneys. Joseph has to receive blood dialysis several times a week in order to filter his blood because his kidneys can't keep up, and he's been doing this for several years.

 

I met Joseph when he was at a really low point in his life and my companion and I were able to share the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with him. The gospel changed his life and gave him a new reason to keep living, and he has kept his faith ever since. Recently after undergoing a routine dialysis Joseph fell down a flight of stairs at the hospital, breaking his hip and shoulder. He has received the immediate medical attention he needs, but it's going to be a long uphill journey for him as he heals.

 

I'm organizing this fundraiser to help him with his most immediate expenses, which are hospital bills and transportation to get him to the hospital for his weekly dialysis until his shoulder and hip heal. If there's anything you would be willing to give it would be very appreciated. Joseph and his family don't have much money and are doing the best they can right now, and every dollar will make a huge difference for them.
