Help Joseph Finish His College Dream
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Joseph and I’m an Indigenous college student-athlete going into my last semester of undergraduate studies. The last four years I have been working hard to make my educational dreams come true. My journey has been a mixture of barriers, challenges, and growth, all fueled by resilience to create positive change for others and my community.
Being a student-athlete isn’t easy. Balancing classes, practices, and competitions takes the majority of my time, leaving a very small amount of time to work a part-time job. College tuition expenses, the continuously rising cost of living, and numerous funding cuts for scholarships (academic & athletic) have made it difficult to continue pursuing my dreams. Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to work for a sustainable income. My mother is a single parent trying to support me and my siblings, but it’s been tough to manage everything even with her support. Obtaining a degree as an Indigenous college athlete is very rare in the tribe I come from, and I am only one semester away from turning this dream into a reality.
I am hoping you can help be a part of this journey to chase my dreams. Any support you provide will go straight toward covering college and living expenses, bringing me closer to reaching my goals. Whether it’s a donation or just sharing my story, it means so much to me and helps me stay motivated to keep pushing forward.
Thank you for reading and considering supporting me. Your kindness and belief in me makes all the difference.
