Hi my name is Kaylea and my son, Joseph has been creating a huge impact on the island of Bali through his recycling project since the age of 10 years old.
His mission has always been to clean up Bali and pay for local underprivileged children to go to school. Now in his third year of his project, he has a 250 strong client base for his pick up service and is supporting 63 children in local primary and high school education.
Over the course of the last three years, Joseph’s project has inspired thousands of people from all around the world. And in addition to recycling Bali’s waste, his main roles are educating local children about plastic waste, and public speaking at events, both private and government.
The small workshop that Joseph currently has is now reaching full capacity and he needs to expand to continue his important work. Also, the requests from visitors to explore Joseph’s project first-hand are increasing.
The vision for this fundraiser is to build a larger building on existing land to expand the sorting and storage area, as well as make space for a visitors centre.
Thank you for supporting Joseph’s project!
