Yes, this is the fire that was on all the news outlets in Chicago's Gage Park community. He lost his personal possessions in the fire, plus his mother, who is physically disabled, is fighting for her life in the hospital with 2nd-degree burns and lung damage due to her being unable to escape the fire without firefighter intervention. She is still unconscious and remains in critical but stable condition. He also lost a few cats; some were saved with oxygen masks administered by fire officials on the scene. He is a nice, caring man who will go out of his way to help others. He is a school bus driver by profession. He is a hard worker, volunteering to do extra work to help transport our darlings of joy.
