Joseph and Betty have called the Falls home for many years, building a life filled with hard work and family. Recently, severe flooding in southeastern Wisconsin turned their world upside down. Water poured into their crawl space, destroying the air conditioner and hot water heater, and overflowed onto the first floor, damaging appliances and warping the wood floors. While some items might be salvageable, the house is no longer truly livable, and the repairs needed are overwhelming.

The flood didn’t just affect their home. Both of their cars were ruined, and insurance won’t cover the loss. Tools and equipment collected over a lifetime were destroyed, including ATVs and a motorcycle. The financial strain is immense, and with homeowners insurance refusing to cover flood damage, Joseph and Betty are left with few options. They’re struggling to cope and need help to get back on their feet.
