First and foremost, thank you in advance for reading this post.

My name is Alondra Correa-Bautista and this is an effort to help see my brother, Jose Correa, through his recovery from an automobile accident that occured on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

While on his way home from attending our sister's baby shower, Jose's vehicle overturned from the impact of a forceful collision. Unfortunately, Jose's emergency air bags did not deploy during the incident - the reason is unknown and is under investigation.

Currently, Jose is in the ICU and suffering from a brain bleed. At just 22, he has endured facial reconstruction surgery to repair many lacerations as the majority of the impact was cranial.

Because Jose is expected to remain under care at the hospital for some time, he will not have a steady income. His recovery will be a lengthy one, so this endeavor is to lessen his medical expenses while he improves.

Jose is strong and resilient.

To many people - Jose is a kind, loving and supportive friend. To our parents - he is their one-and-only son. To our older sister and myself - the one-and-only little brother. To our 3 youngest sisters - their one-and-only big brother. And to his partner - her one-and-only love.

We understand times are difficult and ask your consideration to support his cause. Whether it be monetary, by tucking my brother in your prayers or simply sending warm thoughts his way, my family wholeheartedly appreciates your contributions.

En primer lugar, gracias de antemano por leer este post.

Mi nombre es Alondra Correa-Bautista y este es un esfuerzo para ayudar a mi hermano, José Correa, a recuperarse de un accidente automovilístico que ocurrió el sábado 2 de abril de 2022.

Mientras se dirigía a casa después de asistir al baby shower de nuestra hermana, el vehículo de José volcó por el impacto de una colisión contundente. Desafortunadamente, las bolsas de aire de emergencia de José no se desplegaron durante el incidente; se desconoce el motivo y está bajo investigación.

Actualmente, José está en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos y sufre una hemorragia cerebral. Con solo 22 años, se sometió a una cirugía de reconstrucción facial para reparar muchas laceraciones, ya que la mayoría del impacto fue craneal.

Debido a que se espera que José permanezca bajo atención en el hospital por algún tiempo, no tendrá un ingreso estable. Su recuperación será larga, por lo que este esfuerzo es para disminuir sus gastos médicos mientras mejora.

José es fuerte y resistente.

Para muchas personas, José es un amigo amable, cariñoso y solidario. Para nuestros padres, él es su único hijo. Para nuestra hermana mayor y para mí, el único hermano pequeño. A nuestras 3 hermanas menores, su único hermano mayor. Y para su pareja, él es su único amor.

Entendemos que los tiempos son difíciles y le pedimos su consideración para apoyar su causa. Ya sea monetario, invitando a mi hermano a sus oraciones o simplemente enviándole pensamientos cálidos, mi familia agradece de todo corazón sus contribuciones.
