My mom has been in the hospital since November 5, 2025, after she suddenly stopped breathing. She has had two major surgeries and is fighting to recover. My mom is a type 2 diabetic and is going blind, which makes her situation even more difficult. Every day, I worry about her and want to be by her side, but things have been really hard for me lately.

Because my mom is in the hospital in Dallas and I live in Sulphur Springs, I have to travel to see her. Right now, I don’t have gas money to make the trip, and I’m struggling to afford food and pay my bills. It’s been overwhelming trying to keep up with everything while worrying about my mom’s health. I just want to be able to visit her, make sure she knows she’s not alone, and take care of myself during this tough time.
