Help Jose Sepulveda Overcome Addiction and Share His Story

Hello. My name is Jose Sepulveda. Some of you might know me by Dalse. Thank you for taking your time to read about my campaign.

I'm a 42-year-old recovering addict currently staying at a rehabilitation facility because of alcohol abuse. I've was clean for over a decade but recently had a relapse and I sought help. Unfortunately, my insurance won't cover any of the expenses in this facility. This self-inflicted issue has drained any savings I had, but I'm still alive, and I'm grateful for this second chance. And I hope I can repay all of you one day for your generosity.

As a token of my appreciation for this second opportunity, I'm currently in the process of writing a book regarding substance abuse. It is called "Alcohol is a Solution" and it will tackle several topics that are not often discussed about addiction, recovery, as well as the lifestyle changes involved. It will also try to help people that are close to a person suffering from substance dependency to better understand what is happening.

The book will be part anecdotal, part informative, and part scientific. It will cover a lot of topics in an easy-to-understand and relatable way. This is a serious issue that affects a lot of people, and I want to help everyone.

Any donors will receive a free digital copy of the book and an acknowledgment for all your support. All donations will be used to help me pay for my stay at the rehabilitation facility and the making of the book.

I will keep providing updates throughout the campaign because, as we reach certain milestones, I want the book to become available in paperback, hardcover, and audio-book formats. Translations are something I would love to be able to do. Everybody should be able to learn more about this disease, so we can all heal together.
