The only option left is to arrange a life flight to Monterey, where he can finally get the care that could save his life.

He is the father of five children—four boys and one girl. His eldest child has special needs, and the family has struggled a lot together. Despite these challenges, Jose has always worked incredibly hard to provide for his family and keep them together. Their resilience and love for one another are truly inspiring, but right now, they are facing a challenge they cannot overcome alone.

Every day that passes is another day his health is at risk. As someone who has known this family for years through my connection as a soccer teammate, I can say they are some of the kindest and most hardworking people I know. They would never ask for help unless it was truly their last hope.
