Hi my name is Juan and I’m writing this on behalf of my little brother Jose Ernesto Salazar who was involved in a Major Car Accident.

On the morning of Thursday June 10th of 2021 Jose suffered a stroke while he was driving causing him to lose control of the vehicle and taking out a fence. Then landing on a big light post. When emergency responders found him he was unconscious. We are grateful he is alive and as of today he has had 2 major surgeries, removing a spleen and part of his colon. He has also lost movement on the right side of his body. Jose is only 21 years old and at such an early age he’s been through a lot physically and mentally, we’re all very devastated by this. After two long weeks at the ICU he will now be transferred to a Long Term Acute Care Facility. 

Jose is still not able to recognize any of his family members. My mom is self employed and as a result hasn’t been able to work at all. She has been by his side everyday since. 

Jose has always been a caring and loving person to all those around him, my heart aches as I write this. Never did I imagine writing this for someone so close to me. I ask for your help and prayers as he is on a long road to recovery. . Please hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them. God Bless!
