Help Jose & Ruthie Rojas after Car Accident
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
My name is Angie. I am the daughter of Jose and Ruthie Rojas. My siblings and I are starting a project fund for the restoration of my father’s pickup truck after a recent car accident, along with coverage of financial setbacks for missed ministerial appointments. My parents are not aware of this fundraiser.
The picture you see of my father and his grandson, Ezra, was taken minutes before the accident.
This past weekend, my father was planning his drive to the west coast for ministry. Just minutes after leaving the house, a car broad sided the front of it. He swerved to avoid a T-bone collision, however, the crash was unavoidable. We PRAISE GOD that ALL parties of this accident are overall okay. However, the truck is undrivable now with EXTENSIVE damages. The 1999 pickup truck has SO much sentimental value, to my father, and the ministry, MOVEmentum. He has traveled around the U.S. for ministry the past few years, with his truck. It has been the main source of travel, with MOVEmentum equipment.
MOVEmentum ministry began in 2013. The ministry centers around servant leadership and mobilizing people through evangelism, training, consulting, and motivational speaking. As a family, we have personally witnessed The Lord’s hand upon this ministry. MOVEmentum is BEYOND THANKFUL to its supporters, friends, and grateful for the opportunity to serve.
When the Covid-19 pandemic reached the U.S., it was no secret that small businesses were hit hard— MOVEmentum was no exception. All appointments lined up for 2020 and 2021 were suddenly cancelled. All of my dad’s speaking engagements and ministerial meetings were cancelled. This left their financial reliance on the ministry to a complete stop. Immediately the funds that God provided began to diminish. As the pandemic continues, we remain hopeful with MOVEmentum heading towards a different phase, with new projects, and opportunities.
My parents have devoted their entire lives to ministry and God’s people. So, I ask you, for the very first time, if there is any donation, small or large, that you can find it in your heart to give. We personally understand that times are hard right now, so if you cannot donate, we ask for your prayers. I thank you for taking the time to read this. And we thank you ALL in advance for whatever you can do. God bless you!
